The list of character types needed, and the characters that have this ability, are listed below. For example, using Mithril Boxing Gloves will allow any character to pull an orange handle, even if they are not a strong character. You can also craft certain items that will allow you to use an ability on a character that does not naturally have it.
The only exception is the Beserker, who can be found and bought at Helms Deep. All but one of the character types needed are unlocked by completing levels in story mode. To find the minikit pieces you will need to have certain character types unlocked for you to use in free play.
